This Week: International Biennale Artist Exhibition

On Thursday, June 7th 2012 the “International Biennale Artists Exhibition” will bring to LMNT it’s second Miami Edition showcasing 56 international artists exhibiting contemporary works in all media including paintings, sculpture, photography and video art.

Founded in 2009 by Israeli painter Elisha Ben-Yitzhak, the “International Biennale Artists” group was initially organized as an association of artists that attended the Florence Biennale who wanted to carry on their exhibitions to other parts of the world.

Later, the idea expanded to allow other artists from other international biennales and to include emergent talent who wanted to share the same platform exhibiting along the established ones.

“It is my life passion to assist young and emerging artists to reach their dreams and potential with these type of international exhibitions,” said Elisha Ben-Yitzhak, CEO of Heavenly International Tours.

In 2010, Ben-Yitzhak launched the international series of exhibitions at the Broadway Gallery in Manhattan and in Wynwood, at Nina Torres.  A year later, he inaugurated the show in Canada, at the Gora Gallery in Montreal and at LuminArte Gallery in Dallas, Texas.

Curated by Texas-based artist Matt Anzak and organized by art consultants, Maria Napoles and Cary (Tata) Fernandez, the “International Biennale Artists Exhibition” will be on view through June 26th, 2012 featuring the works by 56 artists from 21 countries such as Argentina, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Cuba, Germany, India, Israel, Italy, Mexico, Peru, Poland, New Zealand, Romania, Russia, Spain, Taiwan, Uruguay, the U.S., and Venezuela.
