NADA Hudson & Little Collector: Educating Children During Art Fairs
The New Art Dealer’s Alliance, NADA partnered again with Little Collector, to give a 1-hour tour of NADA Hudson 2012 which is taking place this coming Sunday, July 29th, 2012 at Noon and 2PM.
Specifically designed for children, the tour will be lead by an art educator who will teach children on how to use the five senses to fully appreciate art. The idea of the tour is to let kids explore what it means to be an artist from the inside-out.
An art-filled afternoon where kids will be taking part in games, activities and demonstrations as they plan to meet gallerists and artists as well as to discover all available materials to make art.
Concepts of complimentary colors, symmetry, patterns and storytelling will be also introduced.
This is a free event.
Ages: For children 5 and up. Please note there will be 2 adults supervising the tour so parents can view the fair at the same time. However, children must be promptly picked up at the end of the tour.
