Ground Up & Rising Stars To Perform “Shakespeare Under the Sun” at Miami Beach Botanical Garden

On Saturday August 11th, 2012 the Miami Beach Botanical Garden will present two performances of “Julius Caesar,” part of the series of “Shakespeare Under the Sun,”to be held at outdoors at the garden at 10AM and 3PM, respectively.
The three outdoor plays are produced by Arturo Fernandez of Ground Up & Rising. Julius Caesar is an hour-long, modern adaptation of the Shakespearean classic.
Miami-based artist Arturo Fernandez, is an award-winning, non-profit theater organization creative who has been named as one of the Top 20 Artists Under 40 by the Miami Times.
Some chairs will be provided, but everyone is encouraged to bring their own chairs or blankets to sit on and enjoy the Zoysia grass.
Performances to follow will be “Macbeth” on August 26th and September 2nd, and “Danny & the Deep Blue Sea” on September 16th and 23rd.
August 11th and 26th, Sept. 2nd, 16th, and 23rd free performances at 10 AM and 3PM each day.
