“Andrew Exhibit” at Miami Science Museum
On August 25th, 2012 from 11AM to 5PM, The Miami Science Museum, MiaSci is hosting a day of remembrance commemorating the 20th anniversary of Hurricane Andrew with a new exhibition entitled “Andrew Exhibit.”
In anticipation to this MiaSci event, WLRN is inviting the public for a special listening session of the WLRN documentary “Remembering Andrew” this coming Thursday August 16th at 6PM at the MiaSci Planetarium.
Guests will also get a sneak peak of next week’s opening exhibition and will also witness a masterful photography slideshow from The Miami Herald.
Light refreshments and hors d’oeuvres provided by Friends of WLRN.
Special guests for next week’s “Andrew Exhibit” Opening Receotion include Bryan Norcross, Max Mayfield, Stan Goldenberg, Chris Landsea, Frank Marks, Kate Hale, and Richard Ford.
