Locust Project’s Open Discussion at The Bass Museum of Art


Tonight, Tuesday October 2nd, 2012 at 7:00PM at the Bass Museum of Art, Locust Projects will present the first in an ongoing series of weekly roundtable discussions on topics in contemporary art proposed and moderated by members of the art community in Miami held outside Locust’s Design District space.
On September 10th, 2012 Miami’s coolest exhibition space for experimental art, Locust Projects began anticipating its upcoming 15th anniversary in 2013 with a series of open discussions that have dealt on everyday issues such as culture, art & economy and intellectual labor.
The discussion for tonight, The Miami Vernacular will be a 90-minute talk moderated by Eddie Arroyo with additional commentary by Bryan Granger, the current Knight Curatorial Fellow at the Bass Museum of Art.
This is a free event. Food and beverages will be provided in a reception following the talk to formally introduce the 2012 Knight Curatorial Fellow, Bryan Granger.
